Our room at Camelot on Ulster was large, very clean, and very comfortable. We were only there for a single night, but we appreciated how surprisingly quiet it was (given its location on a busy road). Parking was easy, right in front of the room. If you're in Hamilton for a rugby match, this place is absolutely perfect, only an 8-minute walk from the stadium. We didn't need the laundry facilities, but it was nice to know they were there. The only small problem was that when we arrived and when we wanted to check out, we couldn't find anyone at the reception desk (in fact, that building was locked). It would be really helpful to have a bell or phone number that guests could use, to alert the staff when they arrive/depart.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, and every time, I leave happy and impressed. The staff here are absolutely lovely—so warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful toward guests. They made our stay feel special from the start, answering all our questions with kindness and care. We stayed here on New Year’s Eve and really enjoyed it. The room was very spacious, with an excellent little kitchenette that made it easy to prepare whatever we needed. The bathroom was also roomy, with a few nice amenities provided. The free parking right outside your room is a huge plus. The location is perfect, making everything so convenient. I’ll definitely be returning and strongly recommend too.

Super clean and just what we needed after watching the game at Waikato stadium. The beds were so comfortable and had the best sleep esp after a drive down from Auckland. Great to stay and the owners super friendly.

Super shower pressure and comfortable beds. Very nicely redecorated with funky casual chairs. Good communication with Manager as we arrived later than expected.

A+ friendly and helpful customer service. The motel exceeded our expectations. Spacious, clean, beds super comfy, gorgeous modern decor and a jet force shower. Very close to the shops etc. We will use again.

Comfortable beds. Heaps of space. Clean and tidy. The air-conditioning kept the room cool in the summer heat. Would definitely stay again.
